Former presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, Adamu Garba has joined other Nigerians who are wondering why Nigeria was snubbed in favour of Ghana by Twitter as it establishes its headquarters in Ghana.
Whilst a lot of Nigerians have congratulated Ghana for this ‘feat’, others are still yet to come to terms with the reason why a ‘whole’ Nigeria wasn’t given this rare opportunity.
In Garba’s opinion, Twitter plainly hates Nigeria. He took to Twitter to say;
”Nigeria is safer with the Hypocrisy of Twitter. We shall have to improve on our methods for elimination of Fake News on the information space.
They just hate Nigeria because they know that the only country that can be the next African Superpower, fully democratic, highly mobile population & good working-age population is Nigeria
Twitter came to Ghana to target the Nigerian market. They won’t admit they need us, but we know.”
I pray Ghana would not allow their country to be used as a platform for the orchestration of nuisance on the African internet space.

Recall that Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey made the announcement in a tweet on Monday afternoon, April 12.
The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo proudly accepted the new development by saying;
The choice of Ghana as HQ for Twitter’s Africa operations is EXCELLENT news. Gov’t and Ghanaians welcome very much this announcement and the confidence reposed in our country. 1/3 #TwitterInGhana #TwitterGhana https://t.co/HdCqFgXK0x
