Media personality, Bridget Otoo has condemned the military brutality on the residents of Ashaiman over the death of one of their own.
Earlier today, video footage and photos from Ahaiman hit the internet where some residents of the town were being brutalized by the military men after it was reported that some residents ganged up and killed one of their own.
According to sources, there military man went to see his cheating girlfriend unannounced to verify his information. However, upon reaching there, he was ambushed by some residents and the lover of his girlfriend who stabbed him in the neck.
Following the brouhaha, Bridget Otoo has condemned the act of the military men. According to her, the story would have been different if the incident happened in East Legon. Adding that the people of Ashaiman do not deserve such treatment.
“Forget Ashaiman for a second and insert east legon. A soldier is killed there & as a result, the military goes to east legon and assaults residents of the east legon. It’s Ashaiman so you think they deserve it. We are not being ruled by the Military. Or Police no longer investigate crime?” she said in a Twitter post.
