Thomas Partey enstooled as Chief in Manya Krobo [Photos]

Thomas Partey, the Deputy Black Stars captain, has been enstooled as a chief in Manya Krobo, where the Arsenal midfielder was born.

Manya Krobo is a town in Ghana’s Eastern region noted for its glass bead-making and as he hails from this town, has been installed as the Development Chief.

The Konor (Paramount Chief) of the Manya Krobo Traditional Area, Nene Sakite II, honored the Arsenal midfielder in a ceremony for his football achievements in presenting the image of Manya Krobo.

In a Twitter post by sports journalist George Addo Junior, the Arsenal midfield linchpin arrived at the gathering amid fanfare and celebrations and was later enstooled as Development chief.

Title of “Mahefalor” conferred on Arsenal Midfielder Thomas Partey by Konor of the Krobo Traditional Area Nene Sakite II Mahefalor means “Defender of Krobo Traditional Area”.
