As they attended the funeral of the rapper’s lawyer together over the weekend, Tracy Sarkcess and her husband Sarkodie became emotional.
The late Cynthia Quarcoo Esq, known as Sarkodie’s renowned attorney, was laid to rest over the weekend.
Sarkodie and Tracy, who were seen at the funeral, are shown in a video that has gone viral crying during the funeral service.
In the video below, which was posted on X, Tracy is seen wiping away tears. At one point, she was unable to contain herself and had to sit down to express her depressed feelings.
Sarkodie and his family have a tight relationship with Mama C, as she is jokingly known. This was the rapper paying her honor when she passed away unexpectedly.
The renowned attorney was the owner of the Accra-based boutique law company CQ Legal. Additionally, Cynthia Quarcoo founded Africa 1 Media, a talent management and PR company that has collaborated with a number of Ghanaian musicians.
Cynthia is credited as being the first attorney in Ghana to create a practice area just for entertainment, sports, and media. She still represents athletes and artists in Ghana.
The now-deceased attorney served as co-counsel for the Ministry of Finance on the successful 2021 $3 billion Government of Ghana (GOG) Sovereign Bond in a field unrelated to entertainment and sports.
On the successful 2020 $3 billion Government of Ghana (GOG) Sovereign Bond, she is also listed as serving as co-counsel for the Ministry of Finance.
