Trying to become a versatile artiste killed Tulenkey’s music career – Ruthy

Sometime ago, Accra based rapper, Tulenky in a media chit-chat revealed that he wants to become the next Sarkodie Ghana will have in the near future.

The “proud fuck boys” hitmaker made his ambition known in an interview with Sammy Flex. Speaking on whether he would love to be signed on a record label or go as an independent artist, Tulenkey said; he does not think he needs a record label at the moment.

“I don’t know how it will be should I have been on a record label because everything would have to be accounted for whatever the label does,” he said.

Tulenky continued that he is getting all the gigs and the milage for which he is satisfied at where he stands currently.

However, when asked if he would love to be signed by Sarkodie’s record label, Sarkcess Music, Tulenkey answered, saying; he would gladly sign for the label due to his background as a rapper because he [Tulenkey] would learn a lot from the label owner, Sarkodie.

But from the look of things, ‘the relevancy of Tulenky in our music industry keeps diminishing lie the law of diminishing marginal returns in Economics”, Ruthy has observed.

According to entertainment critic Ruthy, Tulenkey’s switch from dance songs or better still trying to become a versatile artiste is one of the major causative factors of his fade out.
