Tuface Cancels Lagos Protest And Here Is Why

Afro-Pop artiste Tuface Idibia who through the power of social media charged his fans, colleagues and all Nigerians to join him to protest against the Buhari governement has finally cancelled the protest citing security reasons.

The singer made this announcement on Instagram and accompanied it with a text saying, “Dear Nigerians!!! Due to security concerns and public safety considerations, I hereby announce the cancellation of the planned March.”

The protest was dubbed “#iStandwithNigeria” and has been heavily endorsed by lots of his colleagues in the industry and politicians including Ayodele Fayose. On the same wave length, many opposed his decision notable among them are Blackface and Stella Damascus.

The police had earlier warned the veteran muscian not to go ahead with the protest. Tuface Idibia has accused the Buhari government of bringing untold hardship to Nigerians. The funny thing is that his fans are not enthused with the cancellation and have vowed to take to the street on February 6, 2017. Others are so disappointed that they have the African Queen crooner labelled him a coward.
