Until Female Artistes Learn To Support Each Other, The Men Will Always Reign – Yaa Jackson

Ever since she stopped posting semi nude photos and videos on her social media page, Yaa Jackson has been winning the love of Ghanaians with her born again lifestyle.

The  Afrobeat sensation has said in a recent interview with GNA Entertainment that female artistes must support each other to enable them to compete favourably with their male counterparts and also to dominate the entertainment industry.

It is an open secret that the Ghana music industry is largely male-dominated with a few female artistes successfully competing.

According to the Kumawood actress cum musician, there are many talented female artistes out there but they don’t get the necessary support they deserve to hit the Global market.

“Unity is strength and is about time we female artistes realize that we need to be on the same page to push up our respective brands to enable us to compete with the guys.

“We should support each other by every means possible. For example, if a female artiste drops a good song we should promote it as the male artistes do,” Yaa Jackson reiterated.

When asked about how Coronavirus pandemic had affected her carrier, Yaa Jackson responded saying;

“I miss vibing with fans but as an artiste you need devise new ways of connecting with your fans through various streaming platforms to help generate funds to sustain your craft and that is exactly what am doing.”

Meanwhile Yaa Jackson is currently promoting her lastest single titled “Ginger” after a successful virtual concert held last Friday.
