Ursula Von Der Leyen is a German politician who is currently serving as the president of the European Commission, a position she took over since 2019. She previously served in the German federal government between 2005 and 2019.

Ursula Von Der Leyen was born on 8 October 1958 in
Elsene a suburb of Brussels, Belgium to German Parents, she grew up in Belgium until she was 13 years old in 1971 when her father moved with his family to Hanoover in a bid to enter politics to become minister-president of the state of Lower Saxony.
Ursula Von Der Leyen started studying economics at the University of Gottingen in 1977, however she fled to London the following year due to communist terrorism in West Germany.
In 1980, she returned home and switched to studying medicine and enrolled at the Hannover Medical School, where she graduated in 1987 and acquired her medical license.

Ursula Von Der Leyen Children
Ursula Von Der Leyen children are seven in total and all came from her marriage to her husband, Heiko von der Leyen, a man she met at a university choir in Göttingen and they married in 1986.
Their seven children were born between 1987 and 1999. They consist of two sons and five daughters.
