Shatta Wale has launched a fresh attack on the Food and Drugs Authority’s (FDA) over banning Ghanaian celebrities from publicly endorsing alcoholic products in the country.
In an earlier tweet, Shatta Wale lambasted Ghanaian celebrities for not standing up against the FDA, insisting that the Authority had no powers to issue such a directive.
In a new tweet to express his disappointment over the FDA directive, Shatta Wale wrote: “Small time dem go Ban alcohol for parties and then after they will Ban water too then we wil drink Urine and our sweat !!!! Nonsense !!!!”

Meanwhile, owners of Adnko Bitters has now turned the attention to Nigerian celebrities to advertise their product for them.
On Thursday, February 13, 2020, Ghanaian owned Adonko Bitters held a ceremony at The Oriental Hotel, in Lekki Nigeria which saw some Nigerian celebrities including Ini Edo, Jim Iyke, Uti Nwavhukwu, Teddy A, Charles Okocha, Victor AD and Melvin Oduah as ambassadors of their range of alcoholic products. Former BBA star Selly Gally hosted the event.
