Veteran Musicians Keep “Rejecting” My Collaboration Proposal – KiDi Cries Out

Not long ago, Kuami Eugene of Lynx Entertainment fame came out to say that all efforts made to get legendary Daddy Lumba on a song has proved futile. Although many didn’t believe until his colleague, KiDi added his agony in the hands of veteran musicians to the buzz.

According to KiDi who’s also signed onto Lynx Entertainment, it has always been his dream to collaborate with renowned Highlifers like Kojo Antwi, Amakye Dede, Daddy Lumba, et al. but it has never been easy.

In the voice of KiDi in an interview with Kwame B on Kasapa FM, doing songs with these veterans will open more opportunities and explore more in his field of endeavour.

“It is my wish to easily call my daddy Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba, others to bless my songs but they are veterans so it’s difficult getting through to them.

“I remember meeting Amakye Dede in Kumasi and I was happy when he told me, we have to do a song together. I replied that I will send a beat to him in earnest.” KiDi told Kwame B

However and till today, his willingness to seal the collaboration deal with Amakye Dede can be linked to building castles in the air – it’s becoming almost impossible.

As a reminder, KiDi established himself as one of the fastest-rising stars in Ghana when he released a chart-topping vibe dubbed “Odo” in July 2017. Prior to, he came as the first runner up in MTN hitmaker reality show in 2017.
