The nominations for the 2024 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) have been released with a lot of artists making it to the various categories.

The 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) was officially launched today as nominations for each category have been released.

Although organizers have launched the award nominations for some categories, the announcement for the Big 5 Categories; Best New Artiste, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, and Artiste of the Year.

Nominations for the Best Gospel Song, Best Hi-life Song, Best Hip-life Song, Best Afrobeats Song, and many more.

Friday Night, Stubborn Academy, Anadwo, Abonten, Grace, Ewiase By Kweku Flick will compete for the highly coveted spot as Best Hip-life song. While Atia by Epixode ft Kwabena Kwabena, My Proposal by AK Songstress, Adi dede by Adina, Adom by Kwesi Arthur, Kelvyn Boy’s Down Flat and Have Mercy by Kofi Kinaata will be battling for the Best Hi-life song.

Also, Best Gospel song category have nominees like Final Say – by Celestine Donkor, Waye me yie – Piesie Esther, My Meditation – by Diana Hamilton, Kadosh – Joe Mettle, Hewale Lala – Perez Muzik, Tegbe Tegbe – by Bethel Revival choir ft Edwin Dadson, This Far – Ewura Abena and Mala – MOG music.
