The man of the moment Mr. Opoku Kwarteng has literally been jumping from one radio station to another casting a slur at Bullet and his Rufftown Records right after the burial of his daughter. This in a way has helped the man to get public appeal or better still he’s now famous.
But contrary to perceptions that he’s capitalising on Ebony’s demise to get the needed mileage, Mr. Kwarteng laments that constantly being in the limelight is difficult. He admitted during an interview session with Prince Tsegah on on Hitz FM that he’s well-known in Ghana but he’s not pleased with the tag.
When he was asked how he manages the fame now because he’s very popular. Everyone sees you and says that’s Ebony’s father. How do you manages the fame?
“It’s not easy. I wish I hadn’t gotten this far. Everything has changed. I wanted to live my life but it’s unfortunate now”, he said.
According to him, everything has changed because he wanted to live the life of his choice devoid of public attention but circumstances beyond his control made it so. He admitted on the show that he doesn’t have much of a choice now, he says “I hate my life now.”
Asked if he will maximise on the fame to engage in any business venture, he responded: “I will need your support to get that done. So I’m counting on you.”
