The victim is called Kwame, because, he was born on Saturday, but, the surname “Bobosi” is the name of a river god in Assin Dansame. He is now referred to as Kwame Bobosi because, Assin Bereku residents believe he’s a product of River Bobosi,
Information gathered from family members has it that, the father of the young man, refused to take responsibility of the child, after realising that, he has certain form of disability.
Speaking to Adom News, the senior brother of the victim, Kofi Mensah, explained that, Kwame Bobosi, would have been killed long ago, but, his mother, Esi Gyawa, could not afford the list of items she was given by a deity she consulted for support, therefore, Kwame had to be left off the hook.
