Indeed, Ghana’s very own Sarkodie has proved all those who never believed in one riding on a local dialect to make it big in life wrong. Gone are the days when people use how fluent a rapper is in English to predict how successful he or she will be.
However, Sarkodie since the inception of his music career decided to ride on Ghanaian Language specially Twi and now, he’s globally recognized whereas those riding on English Language are still struggling to appeal to their immediate neighbours.

Speaking to Hemah K, the BET Red Carpet Host, in an interview touched on a lot of stuff that can pose as limitation to both up and coming (underground) artistes and well-established artistes in which the choice of language is very critical.
