Ace Highlife musician, Nana Fynn, who is best remembered for his collaboration with Lord Kenya on the song Sika Mpo Fane Ho, has argued that Mzvee and Stonebwoy are the only two Ghanaian artistes who represent the Dancehall genre to the fullest.
Nana Fynn, who has still not lost his unique Pharaoh identity, made this debatable statement in an interview with Evans Amewugah on SVTV Africa.
The Odo Handkerchief hitmaker also added that most Ghanaians do not count Mzvee as a Dancehall artiste because she doesn’t behave rudely (a typical characteristic of the Dancehall genre).
Nana Fynn said:
Maybe the only people I can call authentic dancehall artistes are Stonebwoy and Mzvee. However, Ghanaians don’t link Mzvee to dancehall because she doesn’t act rudely.
Nana Fynn also stated emphatically that Stonebwoy and Mzvee’s collaboration Come Over, is the only Dancehall song in Ghana.
