Video: Sarkodie Becomes First Ghanaian To Win Best International Flow Act At 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards

Ghana’s favourite contemporary rapper, Sarkodie has made history today for winning  BET’s Best International Flow Act at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards, a category that was introduced for the first time this year.

The 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Georgia, United States. The event was hosted by American entertainer, Lil Duval.

Nigerian rapper; Falz the Bad Guy, Ghetts from the United Kingdom, Kalash from France, Female rapper; Little Simz from the UK, South African hip pop prodigy; Nasty C, Tory Lanez of Canada and Ghana’s Sarkodie were the contenders of the enviable slot.

Sarkodie in his acceptance speech dedicated the award to his daughter for reasons best known to him and used the opportunity to urge the world to visit Ghana for obvious reasons.

Congratulations to Michael Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie for putting Ghana on the map once again.
