Video: The MTV Base Director Explains Why They Show More Of Nigerian & South African Content On Their Channel

Over the years, Ghanaians just like many other African countries apart from South Africa and Nigeria continue to cry about the domination of music content from the a fore mentioned countries on Africa’s biggest music platform MTV Base.

Although it makes sense to place all an eye on all these countries, Tim Horwood, Channel Director for MTV Base Viacom International Media Networks Africabelieves the business realities of the company must not also be overlooked.

Speaking to during the Multi Choice Africa Content Showcase Extravaganza in Mauritius, Tim disclosed the biggest audience of the channels were based in South Africa and Nigeria which automatically means, more content from those geographical areas.
