Vitamilk Ghana as part of it’s Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSRs) has taken care of the cost of helping some Ghanaians to undergo hip replacement surgeries.

A-list actress Yvonne Nelson, former skipper of the Black Stars, Stephen Appiah and Highlife artiste, Kwabena Kwabena visited the patients after their surgery to interact and motivate them at the St. Joseph’s Hospital and donated some Vitamilk products.

Hip replacement surgery is a procedure in which a doctor surgically removes a painful hipjoint with arthritis and replaces it with an artificial joint often made from metal and plastic components. It usually is done when all other treatment options have failed to provide adequate pain relief. Severe arthritis wears down the bone resulting in stiffness, pain, and limited range of motion hip pain or fracture in hip joint, therefore, the replacement of joints is required.
