Former Deputy Finance Minister Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan believes Nana Akufo Addo is not being truthful with Ghanaians as he behaves like he’s living on a different planet.
Hagan said the unbelievable economic mess which has brought untold hardship to Ghanaians is because of the incompetence of the present administration led by Nana Akufo Addo.
He mentioned that despite Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo disputing that the economy is shambolic as he revealed in a speech at the 66th Independence anniversary of Ghana, economic data and facts indicate that the economy has been poorly handled.
The Cape Coast South Member of Parliament commented on the President’s State of the Nation Address on Wednesday, March 8 on the Ghana Today program on TV3.
“We are where we are as a result of the recklessness and wasteful expenditure of this government, overborrowing which has brought us to where we are today. “The President obviously disputed that but the numbers are there to show, we wouldn’t be where we are today if we have managed this economy well.
We wouldn’t be where we are today if we had not been reckless, we wouldn’t be where we are today if we had not over-borrowed. So sometimes you will think the President is probably on a different planet with a different Ghana where things are completely different in that Ghana than the one we live in.
