As the recent Xenophobic attack keeps on increasing more and more people are coming out to condemn the act.

Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson however believes that before any action in implemented, there is a voice behind it.
According to her, we never want to acknowledge how dangerous hate speeches are, how they trigger, incite and encourage violence.

The outspoken actress took to her Instagram page to share her views on how we incite violence through our words.

She wrote;

We never want to acknowledge how dangerous hate speeches are, how they trigger, incite and encourage violence.
We convince ourselves that WORDS DON’T MATTER, until they do and we back- peddle.
The violence you often witness during these conflicts, started somewhere.”

In light of these xenophobic attacks, we must remain united at all cost and never allow our origin dictate how we relate with one another. At the end of the day, we are all one people.
