The Director for National Commission on Culture, Socrates Sarfo has lashed out on the incumbent NPP Government for frustrating the efforts of its members.
Speaking in a discussion with Halifax Ansah-Addo on Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment show with Halifax, Socrates Sarfo lamented that the NPP government is not helping him at all instead they are frustrating his efforts.
“If somebody is listening, they should tell the President that some of us are getting tired…the frustration is too much. We’ve been quiet for far too long, and it looks like some people feel that being quiet means you are stupid. No! Being quite is giving people time to reform,” he said.
“We voted for a party, the President is doing whatever he can do but they are people who don’t understand why they are even in office. They are people who don’t understand or value whatever they are assigned to do. Somebody should tell the President something is wrong. We are tired”. Socrates added.
He commented on how the Government likes to be hailed on media platforms for doing nothing while they starve their party faithfuls.
According to the staunch NPP supporter, if the party is to go to opposition, they should blame it on lack of information for the communication team to feed the public on the good policies implemented by President Akufo-Addo.
He went ahead to advise the leaders in the party to properly take care of their members if they want to retain power in the upcoming December elections.
