We will be protesting on the streets until the results are overturned – Aseidu Nketiah

General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said the party will continue to hit the streets in protest against the 2020 election results.

According to him, until the results as announced by Madam Jean Mensa on December 9, 2020, are overturned, the NDC and their supporters will not relent in their efforts.

Speaking On Joy News, General Mosquito as he is popularly called said demonstrating on the streets puts much pressure on the EC and other stakeholders to do the right thing and they are not going to stop that anytime soon.

“That is a constitutionally guaranteed right of aggrieved people and then the constitutionally guaranteed right of aggrieved people to go to court is also available. We will be on the street till the right things are done,” he told the host Emefa Apawu, Sunday.

Supporters of the NDC have embarked on series of demonstration in several regions and constituencies across the length and breadth of the country demanding for the immediate rectification of the 2020 presidential election results and the declaration of John Mahama as president-elect.
