‘We Won’t Hold Any Peace Talk If Jean Mensa Doesn’t Resign For Her Incompetence’- NDC Bares Teeth

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) through its Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Mr. Ade Coker has told Citi FM that the party won’t back down on its demonstrations and the agitation sweeping within their corridors if the Electoral Commissioner, Jean Mensa doesn’t resign ‘peacefully.’

“We are saying first and foremost, she must resign for the crass incompetence she has shown,” he said. Let us right the wrongs first then start talking. The first wrong to right is for her to resign and then we can talk because we have lost confidence in her,” Mr. Coker told Citi FM.

John Dramani Mahama, the party’s flagbearer and the former president has described the presidential election as a stolen verdict and won’t accept the results unless the right things have been done, a situation which has prompted the supporters to hit the streets to express their grievances.
