The Super Eagles will “beat the sh*t” out of Ghana, according to Nigerian Sports Minister Sunday Dare.
The two West African rivals will square off later this year for a spot to the World Cup in Qatar.
The first leg will be held on March 25, 2022 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, with the return on March 29, 2022.
On Wednesday morning, Nigeria’s Sports Minister told the Super Eagles’ technical team not to accept a draw.
“We won’t play a draw in Ghana. “We’ll beat the crap out of them,” Dare stated in a viral video.
“Let them go, they have insurance for their next match. There is insurance there and here.”
Ghana’s interim coach Otto Addo picked his 27-man roster for the two-legged match against the Super Eagles on Tuesday.
Four debutants have been called up to the Black Stars side to face Nigeria in the FIFA World Cup playoff game.
Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare met with the technical crew of the Super Eagles this morning in Abuja.
