“We’ll not ask Ghanaians for certificates before giving them jobs” – NDC’s Akamba

Joshua Akamba, National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said their next administration will not demand Ghanaians to submit certificates before they are given jobs.

According to him, the NDC will focus on potentials, skills and expertise than certificates in a bid to provide an equal playing field for all and sundry.

Speaking at a mini-rally organized by the NDC in Bawku in the Upper East Region ahead of the December polls, Mr Akamba said certificates should not be the reason Ghanaians are deprived of the opportunity to engage in legitimate work or be employed.

“I know many of the youth here are suffering and working for the NDC. Take and mark my words; there is no way we are going to ask for your certificates,” he stated, as quoted by Citinewsroom.

“Nobody will ask the youth to bring their certificates before they are given jobs. It is your CV we will ask because everybody in Ghana has a CV so have in mind that when the NDC comes to power, nobody will ask you for your certificates,” he said.

Ghana will be going to the polls on December 7 either to renew the mandate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and President Akufo-Addo or vote in a new set of governemnt.
