Rufftown Records signee Wendy Shay has sent a subtle reply to Burniton Music Groups signed artist, Kelvyn Boy for claiming she does not write her own songs.
The Ghanaian songstress and Afrobeat singer, born Wendy Addo has listed her achievements in the past 12 months of her career in the Ghana music industry to indirectly spite Kelvynboy who had earlier stated that he’s not in competition with an artist whose writing vibes is dead.
According to Wendy in a post on IG, she wrote six songs on her ‘Shay on You’ album that was released in just six months after which earned her 6 awards.
“I entered the industry in the 6 month of 2018. Released an album in 6 months, wrote 6 songs on it and won 6 awards. We are in the 6th month of 2019 and am about to release 6 BANGERS. Songwriting Skills bi y3d3 👅🤟🏾💥”, she wrote.
A few weeks ago, a video which showed Kelyvnboy snubbing Wendy Shay after shaking hands with Bullet and hugging Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy at a press conference went viral.
The two artists have exchanged a few words since the incident with Rufftown Records CEO claiming that Kelvynboy did that because Wendy Shay won the “New Artiste of The Year” ahead of him.
