Manager for the late Ebony Reign, Bullet has in a radio interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay Fm, today February 12th, 2018 has reacted to a claim by Zylofon boss, Nana Appiah Mensah that Ebony wanted him to bail her out, by paying for an exit clause of $100,000 to RuffTown Records, so she could be ‘Free’

Nana Appiah Mensah had tweeted on Saturday evening that Ebony wanted him to bail her out, a tweet that many Ghanaians found needless and unnecessary. Nana Appiah Mensah upon sensing the anger coming from Ghanaians indicated that he was going to clarify his tweet on Zylofon FM today, which he did.

In clarifying his infamous tweet, he made mention that, Ebony had told him that she needs $100,000 to settle for an exit clause in her contract and that he had agreed to help her do that.

Well, it appears, the statement made by NAM 1 on his radio station didn’t go down well with Bullet and in reacting to that on Okay Fm, he stated that it was disrespectful for them to even think that, Ebony’s bailout is worth $100,000 as the Ebony Brand is worth more than that amount.

He also mentioned that, Ebony was not in any form of bondage under his label and that she never at any point discussed with him, that  she wanted to leave her record label and believes that, if anything at all, it could be some people who might have fed her with all sorts of thoughts and promises.

Bullet mentioned that, her ambassadorial deal from  Hi-5 Choco Malt was even worth some $200,000, so how could it be possible that her bailout would be worth $100,000.

Bullet who was emotional mentioned that, she saw Ebony as his younger sister and cared for her soo much that, she even gave her the freedom to tell them what she wanted.

It was obvious in the interview that, Bullet was not happy at the tweet NAM 1 put out and also the fact that he mentioned that he would have paid him, $100,o00 for Ebony if she had not died in that gory accident.

“Ebony was not in bondage. She was an artiste who I can say was even dictating to management. She wasn’t under any strict management. Contracts have clauses in them but if she wanted a bail out, due to the relationship that existed between us, it wouldn’t have been a big deal. Perhaps someone tried to persuade her with an amount.

“The amount invested in Ebony was even more than $100,000. How much is $100,000? Is Ebony worth $100,000? The biggest artiste in Ghana now; her bail out is $100,000? $100,000 is the price of Gadoe’s watch. That is not money. To respect her value as an artiste, you shouldn’t even mention $100,000. I don’t get it. Bail out in which way?”
