Lent is 40 days observed by Christians across the world between Ash Wednesday and Easter. The name Lent originated from the “Old English lencten springtime, spring” and “from West Germanic langitinaz long-days or lengthening of the day.”
During this period, most Christians fast and focus on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a period of repentance

As already explained, this period is about concentration on Jesus and the sacrifice he gave on the cross. The following are some of the things to do during this period.
