According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration known as NASA for short and some reliable astrologers, the zodiac sign you think you are is no long what you think. Just after NASA discovered a current constellation, they uploaded it on their blog stating that, there are now 13 zodiac signs and not 12.
Some changes have been made so far. Also, according to them, the 13th zodiac sign which has been added to the list is called Ophiuchus and it’s a star sign for individuals who are recorded to be born between 29th November to 17th December. This shows that these changes have for a fact, affected the other signs.
“According to the Babylonians’ own ancient stories, there were 13 constellations in the zodiac,” the NASA post says on their blog.
They added that “So the Babylonians picked one, Ophiuchus, to leave out.
“Even then, some of the chosen 12 didn’t fit neatly into their assigned slice of the pie and slopped over into the next
“What’s more, the Earth’s axis has also altered since the Zodiac signs were coined – meaning all the constellations are now in slightly different places in the sky.
“The sky has shifted because Earth’s axis (North Pole) doesn’t point in quite the same direction.”
Therefore, the 13th sign is represented by a man holding a snake. And on the zodiac wheel, it would side between Sagittarius and Scorpio.

Did NASA Invent A New Zodiac Sign?
Factually, most people believe that, Ophiuchus is another sign invented by NASA but according to NASA, they haven’t invented any new zodiac sign. The Babylonians already knew of the Ophiuchus and simply decided not to add it to the group.
NASA however, edified that the reason for excluding the 13th sign was that, astronomy and astrology are two different things and just because another constellation has been included on the map doesn’t mean it is added as a zodiac sign too.
Having said that, most people around the world see Ophiuchus as the 13th sign and recognise it as one of the rarest zodiac signs in the world of astrology.
