A staunch supporter of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Yaw Abban believes President Akufo-Addo has positioned Ghana better as far the international community is concerned.
According to him, the hard work of the President has ensured that Ghana has become the preferred destination for international businesses and mega-corporations who are running helter-skelter to settle in the country.
His comment, just like many comments being made by NPP supporters, comes in the wake of the good news announcing that Twitter has chosen Ghana as its headquarters for its operations in Africa.
Yaw Abban believes that while Akufo-Addo and his administration are working assiduously and attracting the likes of Volkswagen, Toyota, AfCFTA Headquarters, Twiter et al to Ghana, Mahama was only able to attract Osofia, the Nigerian comedian cum actor to Ghana when he was in the helm of affairs.
Akufo-Addo brought VW, Toyota, and Twitter to Ghana, Mahama brought Osofia. Know the difference! #TwitterGhana #TwitterInGhana

Mahama will not be happy to hear that! LOL!
However sarcastic this comment may sound, it does not take away the fact that many supporters of the NPP believe their party and leadership have done a yeoman’s job by positioning Ghana as a shining beacon of the contemporary African story.

I heard the NDC party will be holding a press conference because they don’t understand why Jack chose to bring #TwitterGhana under Akuffo Addo’s government and not Mahama’s.
