A Nigerian man has lamented that while he’s struggling to try to make a headway in life, his peers are making lots of money through internet scamming, widely known as yahoo yahoo or sakawa.
He let out his frustration when a reporter Lucky Udu interacted with him recently.
Identified as John, the 25-year-old man said he spent four years learning welding yet with all his hard work, he has nothing to show for it.
In his words, he can barely sustain himself with the money he earns despite his hard work, yet those fraudsters require just a little effort to take in cash and live ‘large.’
The 25-year-old said; ”My name is John. I am 25 years old. I am not too happy with my life because everyone I grew up with are now making money through yahoo yahoo. I learnt welding for the past four years but nobody wants to give me job because they feel like I am too small or not up to the task.
I have been trying my best to meet up with life. My friends are doing things, making money, buying cars. I just feel left out in everything.”
