American freestyle skier Kyle Smaine sprang to fame in 2015 when he won the gold medal in the halfpipe event at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships.
The world-record holding skier, who was 31 years old, just died away. On January 29, 2023, in Japan, Kyle Smaine, at the age of 31 years old, was killed by an avalanche.

Kyle Smaine was born in the United States of America on June 27th, 1991. Sadly, Kyle Smaine lost tragically on the 2,469-meter Hakuba Norikura mountain, which is located close to the Tsugaike ski resort.
Kyle Smaine was killed when he was swept away by an avalanche in Japan. He died away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 31.
