British television presenter Paula Yates, whose full name is Paula Elizabeth Yates, was born on April 24, 1959.
Yates started writing a “Natural Blonde” column for the Record Mirror in 1979, shortly after posing for Penthouse magazine, to launch her career as a music journalist. Yates was renowned for her work as a presenter on The Big Breakfast.
Due to her marriage to singer Bob Geldof and her romance with singer Michael Hutchence, Paula Yates attracted a lot of attention.

In 1987, she made an appearance in a parody documentary about the pop group Bananarama with her friend Jennifer Saunders. On September 17, 2000, she passed away.
Her name reappeared in 2023 after it was revealed that a new two-part documentary would be centered on the life of the late TV presenter.
At the age of 41, Paula Yates passed away from a heroin overdose on Sunday, September 17, 2000, at her Notting Hill home. Reports state that Paula Yates’s funeral was held the same year he passed away. (2000).
Paula Yates Husband: Meet Bob Geldof
Due to her marriage to singer Bob Geldof and her romance with singer Michael Hutchence, Paula Yates attracted a lot of attention.
Yates had a successful marriage. Bob Geldof, whose full name is Robert Frederick Zenon Geldof, was her husband.
He is an Irish singer-songwriter and political activist who first gained notoriety as the lead singer of the Boomtown Rats, an Irish rock band, in the late 1970s.
Yates and Bob started dating in 1976, and on August 31, 1986, they were wed after ten years of dating. Yates left Geldof in February 1995, and the two were formally divorced in May 1996.
However, Paula Yates first encountered Michael Hutchence in 1985 while conducting an interview with him for The Tube, a rock magazine program on Channel 4.
Later in 1995, after Yates split from Geldof, she became pregnant with Michael Hutchence’s child.
Michael Hutchence was discovered dead in a Sydney hotel room in November 1997. According to the official cause of death determination, he died by hanging himself.
