Richard Rufus was born on 12 January 1975 in Lewisham, London, England. He is currently 48 years in 2023. Richard began his career as a teenage at the age of 19 years. Richard Rufus Jailed For 7 and Half Years For Fraud
On 12 January 2023, Richard Rufus was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison after being found guilty of fraud, money laundering and carrying out a regulated activity without authorisation at Southwark Crown Court.
He was alleged to have conned his friends of £8 million through a trading platform. This is not the first time he has been accused of such acts. In December 2013, he was declared bankrupt after a £6 million failed investment which also cost his church £5m.
In November 2015, Rutus has also branded a fraudster after making away with investors £8 million. He also appeared in court in 2019 for foreign currency exchange fraud of up to £9 million, between 2007 and 2012.
