At the time of the parties, Shannon Marie O’Connor, 49, was residing in Los Gatos; she currently resides in Idaho. She was accused of 39 counts, including felony child abuse, sexual assault, and serving alcohol to children after police claimed to have heard about the parties in 2021.

However, according to the Mercury News, grand jurors have issued a 63-count indictment against O’Connor, which includes counts of aiding and abetting sexual assault and child endangerment for providing alcohol to minors.

According to the police, O’Connor bought cigarettes, beer, vodka, and whiskey for the teenagers. Authorities claim that some of the minors present—mostly those between the ages of 14 and 15—passed out from alcohol use.

It is also alleged that O’Connor encouraged the youngsters to engage in sexual activity. Police claim that some were non-consensual, and O’Connor occasionally observed the teenagers engaging in sexual activity.

Seventeen of the accused victims gave grand jury testimony, according to The Mercury News.

A girl who was one of them testified that she was so drunk that she almost drowned in a hot tub.

According to authorities, O’Connor allegedly laughed and watched as a drunken teen sexually abused a little girl in bed during a New Year’s Eve party at her house with roughly five other 14-year-olds.

In a different instance, she is accused of dragging a drunken teenager into her bedroom, where he sexually molested a 14-year-old girl.

According to court documents, the girl informed detectives that she nearly drowned in a hot tub at another party because she was so inebriated.

In Ada County, Idaho, where she was residing at the time, O’Connor was arrested in 2021.
