Ghanaian TV presenter and Make-up artiste, Nyiraba Adwoa Amofa Osei otherwise known as Adwoa Loud has quizzed why there is a still a ban placed on Cinemas while churches, bars and other social events are being allowed to fully operate.

The Government of Ghana as part of it’s initiative to fight the global pandemic Coronavirus placed a restriction on social gatherings and events but upon further deliberations the ban was lifted on condition that all health protocols will be observed.

Even though churches, mosques, bars and other social events are allowed to operate, the Cinemas are still closed which has infuriated Adwoa Loud.

According to Adwoa in a post on her Instagram page, the movie industry is under a lot of duress and instead of closing cinemas, it should be opened to help the entertainment industry.

According to Adwoa, the entertainment players especially actors and movie producers need to fight for the opening of the Cinemas to help them promote their movies.
