Travel blogger and Social media commentator, Akesse Moise Sanza has quizzed Ghanaians why they are against LGBT being legalized in Ghana but yet want to relocate to countries where such same-sex relationships or marriages are legal.
Majority of Ghanaians have poured their outrage on Social media since it was announced that an LGBT community office has been launched in Ghana, giving some breath to the possibility that, soon people who are Lesbians, Gays, Bi-Sexuals or even Transgenders can marry and come out publicly without being prosecuted.
Akesse who is deemed as one of the richest bloggers in Ghana has travelled to several countries around the world and is certainly not against the legalization of LGBT in Ghana is surprised the very Ghanaians kicking against it are so interested in moving out of Ghana to countries like USA, Canada, South Africa, England, Sweden, Denmark, where LGBT rights are respected.
Akesse Sanza posted on Facebook:
Why are you against LGBT but still want to relocate to a country where it’s legally practiced? Why are you running to Sodom & Gomorrah?
If you are so against it, and you get an opportunity to go live in a place like the US and offered a job with a salary of say $4,000 a month, would you reject that offer just because you are against it been legalised in your country?
