A woman has told blogger Sammy Kay why she stopped attending International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) founded and headed by Pastor Mensah Otabil.
She said her defiant posture arose after her son was diagnosed with Spina bifida, a disorder that affects the spine and is typically noticeable at birth but got no help from the church after she laid her predicament on their table.
The mother of “baby Jay” told Sammy Kay that the youngster has already undergone four surgeries to address the issue, and she is presently looking for help and a solution to continue his treatment and recover some power in his legs so that he can walk.
Rose Okyere claims that after speaking with the church’s leadership at the Lashibi branch about her situation regarding her son’s health, she no longer fellowships with them because she hasn’t yet received any assistance, leading her to decide to bear her own cross.
Rose Okyere previously attended International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), but she no longer does.
In the meantime, Rose has asked Ghanaians to come to his aid to undergo physiotherapy and other treatments meant to make her son walk again.
