Renowned Ghanaian marriage counsellor, Mrs Charlotte Oduro has offered another nugget of advice to couples aimed at sustaining and giving credibility to their marriages.
Counsellor Oduro perhaps hinged her message on the gruesome murder of Barbara Tommey- a Ghanaian banker in the United States by her own husband, Sylvester Ofori who happens to be a pastor. Furthermore, the spate of divorces characterized by violence in recent times has influenced the famed Ghanaian counsellor to tell potential married couples to always lookout for the red flags before embarking on this lifelong journey.
”If you couldn’t pray for him to change when you started seeing the red flags at the onset of the relationship, don’t think he will change after marriage. He may even become worse…. don’t go into the marriage with the hope that he will change and become a better person. You will be mistaken,” she said.
