The wife of Juabuso MP Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has sued Ablekuma West MP Ursula Owusu Ekuful for sitting on her husband’s laps a week ago in parliament.
According to this woman, the act by the Communications Minister is tantamount to causing emotional pain and trauma to and sexually harassing her husband.
Ghanaians woke up to a shocker on 7th January 2020 when Ursula Owusu Ekuful refused to accept any other seat in parliament and decided to sit on NDC’s Mintah Akandoh laps during the night of the dissolution of the 7th parliament.
Ursula Owusu Ekuful said Minah Akandoh has occupied her seat and was left with no other option than to sit on his laps…causing a very dramatic scene.
Although Ghanaians teased the male MP and said he has really enjoyed the huge backside of Ursula Owusu Ekuful, Mintah Akandoh in an interview with Peace FM said he felt sexually harassed by the act.
“I am sure Hon. Ursula Owusu was rather enjoying me whilst she sat on my lap since I wasn’t feeling anything for her,” he said.
Mintah Akandoh went on to say he was going to take legal action against Ursula Owusu. An action which has been reportedly taken by his wife who feels the vivacious Ablekuma West MP indeed harassed his husband.
