William Distelcamp’s obituary has been shared online by friends and family members. In the meantime, the cause of death has not been established. One of his friends, Mario Pinto confirmed his death on Facebook by writing;
“I don’t normally post anything like this besides joyous occasions with my kids, my wife and my family. With that said I felt compelled to share my absolute sadness and still disbelief for the passing of my great friend William Distelcamp. Bill was an absolute genuine and positive soul. I had the pleasure of being friends with him for many many years and recently had the honor of having him as part of my wedding party. When there were some life battles along the way, Bill was always there to help me get through them. He was so positive and uplifting it was incredible. He was one of those very rare people that we could only hope to cross paths with let alone call my great friend. Along the way he was introduced to my close friends and my family and everyone had nothing but great things to say about him and loved him. He had an infectious smile, tremendous sense of humor and positive attitude. He was so full of life and had so much to offer this crazy world we live in before his life was cut short way way to soon. I will forever hold all the memories and laughs we had together my brother. I thank you so much for coming into my life and being a great friend. I love you Bill 💔”
