A Nigerian lady has shared before and after photos of herself to narrate how she was bullied by friends and family because of her crossed eyes until she resorted to corrective surgery.

With the username @elsea20 on Twitter she narrated how she was called “Anya 4:30” and how people were being cruel wit their words, not caring about how she felt each time they called her that.

She stated that she suffered depression as each time, someone called her that, it ate her heart out.

According to her, oneday, she left her class in tears and went to her mom’s office and her mom cried with her.

Later, after researching online and seeing that the condition can be corrected through surgery, she told her father that she wanted to have surgery.

The surgery was eventually done abroad and her sight was corrected. She said her new look boosted her confidence.

Anya sharing the photos has advised people to be kinder with their words with people because they have no idea what others are going through.
