Kumasi-based actress and Ghanaian singer, Yaa Jackson has taken a dig at Rufftown singer, Wendy Shay for claiming she’s the queen of Ghana music in numerous social media posts.
Wendy Shay who has carved a niche for herself over the past year has in a series of social media posts claimed to be the queen when it comes to Ghana music.
In her recent Twitter post, the ‘Kut It’ singer asked Nana Akufo Addo to invite her, the queen of Gh Music to the flagstaff house like he did to Shatta Wale some years ago.
Dear @NAkufoAddo ,we appreciate the love you’ve shown towards the creative art .I plead that as you invited the King @shattawalegh same way you can invite the the Queen of Gh Music @wendyshaygh .The industry is not being fair to GH female Artist..
We know you can help #GhWakeUp

Her comment has sparked rage on social media with netizens bashing for been rude on her fellow queens but none has so far responded to her until today.
According to Yaa Jackson who has released a couple of songs in a post on Twitter, Wendy Shay doesn’t have the right to crown herself the queen when it comes to Ghana Music.
“So who crowned her queen of Ghana music?? Boi! .. I wonder why Dem dey call demma selves QUEENS!! Where my #woshposse deh!!”

Yaa Jackson’s tweet is a clear indication that she isn’t comfortable with Wendy Shay tagging herself as the queen of Ghana music when there are MzVee, Sista Afia and others.
