The South African actor and dancer, Hungani Ndlovu has intimated on social media that it is impossible to help others heal if you don’t find healing yourself.
Hungani Ndlovu who starred in Television series such as Memoir of an Honest Voice, Sipho and Scandal added that life is a journey and not a destination and encouraged people to continue to work hard and not give up.
He said further than though the setbacks will come, it is important to hold on tight and focus on the vision.
“You can’t help others heal if you don’t find healing. It’s a journey, not a destination. You’ll have setbacks. It will look nearly impossible. You’ll lose sight of the vision. You’ll want to quit. BUT. Hold on tight,” Ndlovu said in his post on IG.
He further advised that when one is being tempted to give up, they should just look back to see how far they’ve come and give thanks to God for their little victories.
“Look how far you’ve come. Give thanks for the little victories. You are doing good. I’m proud of you. Keep going. Enjoy the views as you travel on this journey,” he added.
