“You? Talk about my looks? You?”- Serwaa Amihere’s Blood ‘Boils’ After One Journalist Tried Using Her ‘Make-Up’ Face To School Her

2 mins

Yesterday, GhOne TV broadcaster Serwaa Amihere was being teased on Social media over her interview with the Information Minister gone bad.

Serwaa who was speaking to the Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on their show, GH Today had asked the minister a question about why the people in the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election had not been punished.

Unknown to Serwaa, there was a report by the Emile White Commission which looked into the matter and gave government some recommendations and even a white paper that responded to those recommendations.

It was obvious that Serwaa had not read the report and even the white paper, and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who noticed that made her appear somewhat dumb on television, with Serwaa trying so hard to avoid his question about what the said report says.

After the show, Ghanaians on Social media started trolling her, for not researching on the subject matter she sought to ask questions around and thereby facing the consequence of being embarrassed on TV by KON.

Of the many people who were disappointed in Serwaa’s inability to control the interview is Ghanaian journalist, Kwame Gyan who took to Twitter to express his opinion.

The journalist tweeted;

“Serwaa paaaaa. You failed the Fundamentals of journalism- research b4 interviews. And when you are caught off guard you say we should ignore the lopsided kominini of party fanatics. Sister, the same effort you put in your looks before a TV show, do same with research.”

His last line, “Sister, the same effort you put in your looks before a TV show, do same with research.”   Is what pissed Serwaa off and even followers of Kwame Gyan also feel, the journ was being overly rude by bringing in that.

Serwaa upon seeing his tweet, replied  “Kwame Gyan? You? Talk about ny looks? You?”

Well, people I don’t need to interpret that reply from Serwaa. See the tweet below and a picture of Kwame Gyan below and derive your own interpretation.
