Okyenhene Amoatia Ofori Panyin the Paramount Chief of Akyem Abuakwa in the Eastern Region has promised President Akufo-Addo his continual stay in office until his second term is over.
In other words, the revered Okyenhene believes the incumbent president has performed creditably well and the good people of Ghana will surely renew his mandate a the December polls.
During a campaign visit by President Akufo-Addo and his entourage to the Okyenhene’s Palace, he expressed admiration at the leadership prowess of the president especially during these COVID-19 times and applauded him for every single decision he has taken in favour of the citizenry.
“The whole world is praising Akufo-Addo for the good work he did in containing COVID in Ghana when even more resourceful nations still grapple with the virus.”
“So when his work comes to a close; and his work is not ending now, even if it will end that will be around 2024, he should build a presidential library which will teach people how he handled the Coronavirus virus in Ghana,” the Okyenhene said.
President Akufo-Addo is on a two-day campaign tour of the Eastern Region where he will be cutting sod for some developmental projects as well as sell his message to the electorates to better his chances of winning the December 7 elections.
