‘Your Mother’ – Dr. Lawrence Tetteh Insults Singer And Justifies It By Saying There’s Insult In The Bible

International preacher, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh is trending on social media for the wrong reasons after he publicly insulted a singer who was helping him to sing a song during Ebony’s funeral which occurred over the weekend at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.

Apparently, the preacher’s backup singer identified as Maxwell, was not coordinating with the Man of God so he could sing properly.

So in anger, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh yelled at him, ‘Mr. Maxwell, are you the one preaching or it’s me? Onye. Come and stand here.

After receiving backlash from Ghanaians for his weird behaviour, the famous preacher defended his action by supporting it with verses from the Bible, indicating that insult can be found in 2 Kings 3:14 in the Holy Bible.

He said:

It’s in the Bible, Onye is in the bible and its means your mother. It’s in 2 Kings 3:14. There are a lot of things in the Bible.

This insult was said by Elisha after he was provoked by some rebellious kings.

Dr. Lawrence Tetteh was the officiating minister at the funeral ceremony of late Ebony Reigns.
