Broadcaster with Accra-based Citi FM Umaru Sanda Amadu has sent a strong message to supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who are attacking him and fired back at Kevin Taylor.
There has been an expressive display of displeasure against some journalists and media houses from some NDC supporters following the coverage of the 2020 election.
Umaru Sanda, Bernard Avle and other journalists have come under severe attack. Most of these NDC supporters accused them of churning out false figures to support the NPP. Others also said these journalists connived with the governing party to twig the election results.
This incessant attacks on Umarau Sanda and other journalists have compelled the journalist to come out with a strong message to these NDC supporters where he is admonishing them to be intelligent in their discourse and not to be led by party fanaticism to verbally abuse his person and reputation.
Addressing this issue on social media, Umaru Sanda said the energy these NDC supporters are expending to attack him could have been used to better their chances at the polls.
He also used the medium to reply to Kelvin Taylor’s attack on him and other journalists.Where the US-based loud-mouthed journalist alleged that he together with other journalists helped the NPP and President Akufo-Addo to steal the election.

Dear NDC Supporters, If you had spent half the energy you’re using to insult me and other journalists on the campaigns of 2020, the party would have won at least, 138 seats with UNRIGABLE MARGINS so that this debate about MAJORITY and MINORITY wouldn’t arise.
By the way, despite all the insults you’ve heaped on me and my ethnic group, my skin is still as smooth as that of my brother, the Fulani NDC MP for Adenta.
I know the block-headed self-acclaimed journalist in unwarranted exile in the US doesn’t know that a Fulani blood is in Parliament on the NDC ticket. But of course, he’s an unintelligent coward with a microphone. That’s dangerous.
My NDC friends, let’s have intellectual intercourse. You would find it more stimulating than the insults. 3y3 Zu!!!
As usual, his post received equal replies from some NDC faithfully. Check out some of the replies below:
@Dela wrote: Some of you journalists think that you are beyond criticism, that is your problem. You are lucky NDC supporters are only insulting you. When the NPP didn’t like things you said about them, did they not send their goons in police uniforms to disgrace you publicly? Massa, be wise!!
@aboboi wrote: Is it all NDC supporters who are insulting you?. And for NDC to get 137 from 106, aaaba they need some claps already. Stop this blind bastardizing and mockery of journalism.
@Alhassan07: Sorry for the insults, it’s not something I will support but I think you are too much inclined to NPP. And what you called intellectual discourse, I call it distraction
