Yui Mizuno began her musical career at the age of 11 when she joined Sakura Gakuin, an idol group managed by the Amuse, Inc. entertainment agency.

She ran into Moa Kikuchi, a fellow band member who would later join her in Babymetal. Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi demonstrated their talent during their Sakura Gakuin audition with an outstanding duet dance cover of Karen Girl’s “Over the Future.”

The members of Sakura Gakuin were divided into smaller groups, referred to in Japanese as “clubs,” each of which had its own distinctive musical character.

Initially joining the “Baton Club” and its musical side project, Twinklestars, were Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi.

It is important to note that neither Yui Mizuno nor Moa Kikuchi had any prior exposure to heavy metal music before they entered the realm of Babymetal.

The storyline changed, though, when Yui Mizuno abruptly canceled her appearance on Babymetal’s US tour in May 2018, keeping her fans in the dark about her health.

This absence continued during the June 2018 European tour. The sad news that Yuimetal, as she was known within the band,

wouldn’t be able to continue with the group owing to health difficulties, was revealed by Babymetal on October 19, 2018.

Yui Mizuno admitted that making the decision was difficult, but she also stated that she intended to look into the idea of pursuing a solo career in the future, giving her supporters some cause for optimism.

Fans were eagerly anticipating her next project, as this was a pivotal stage in her artistic career.

Mizuno and her management team have carefully hidden the specifics of her illness, which has led to a flurry of speculative discussion among her passionate fan base.

A back ailment, a spinal issue, or even an anxiety disorder may have hampered the talented singer’s ability to perform, according to some theories.

However, Mizuno spoke to her fans in a message she released in October 2018 about her health issues and her decision to leave Babymetal.
