Zylofon FM and Zylofon TV have ceased broadcasting

The management of Zylofon Media has stated that Zylofon FM and Zylofon TV will be temporarily shut down.

According to a statement, the decision was made to allow management to carry out some engineering work at the stations as well as certain structural changes to their operations.

On Monday, March 28th, 2022, the shows will return.

As a result, the two channels will not resume regular programming on Monday, January 10, 2022, as previously stated.

This follows a wave of resignations from some of the stations’ presenters.

Sammy Flex, Blakk Rasta, Kwadwo Boateng Cosby, Sintim Koree Chaskele, and Isaac Asempa have all been fired from Zylofon FM and Zylofon TV in recent months.

The truth is, the fortunes of Zylofon FM and Zylofon TV sank after Menzgold, a gold dealership company owned by Nana Appiah Mensah, the proprietor of Zylofon Media, was shut down by the Ghana Securities and Exchange Commission in September 2018.

The Minerals Commission of Ghana canceled the company’s operating license, which had been awarded in 2014 and was primarily for gold trade and export.
